Rin Takanashi, a caregiver in her thirties, was unceremoniously discarded as "trash" despite being summoned as a saint.

However, as a lover of the great outdoors and all things camping, she was blessed with a special skill, "Survival," as well as another unique skill! Thus, a riveting tale begins: one of sweat, tears, and insatiable hunger as Rin, together with companions she picked up along the way, leisurely explores this parallel world and savours gourmet cuisine to her heart's content...

Or so the story should have gone, but it looks like their road is going in an unexpected direction...?

Main characters

Characters AniList lists in a main role, with spoiler-free notes.

  • Rin Takanashi 小鳥遊倫

    Main character

She was summoned to another world, only to get kicked out in a split second. Her hobbies are solo camping, cooking, and TRPGs, but now she's living the ultimate real-life RPG dream! The chance to hunt, cook, and eat her own food? It’s absolutely the best!

    Japanese voice: Sora Tokui

  • Viru ヴィル

    Main character

He’s the first "Ogre-Dragon" guy Rin met in this other world. He’s a highly skilled adventurer and the leader of the "Gluttony Table." Sure, he’s got a bit of a high "fuel consumption" and looks intimidating, but he’s a gentleman—kind, strong, and handsome to boot! He’s a total feast for the eyes.

    Japanese voice: Yuuki Ono

Supporting characters

  • Aria アリア

    Supporting character

She’s a beauty and a member of the "Gluttony Table." Watching her fight using threads is so cool—it practically brings back memories of Rin's sealed-away "chuunibyou" phase! Plus, she smells amazing and is so soft; getting a tight hug from her makes Rin go "hehehe"... She’s totally best-girl material!

    Japanese voice: Sumire Morohoshi

  • Edo エド

    Supporting character

He’s a magic alchemist and a member of the "Gluttony Table." He’s cheerful and personable, but he absolutely dotes on his wife, Aria; whenever Aria and Rin give each other a tight hug, he shoots her a really intense look... It’s just friendship—pure friendship!

    Japanese voice: Shouya Chiba

  • Xenon セノン

    Supporting character

An elf and a member of the "Gluttony Table." He’s a cleric who uses healing and support magic, though he’s also been known to bash monsters with a mace instead of a bow.

    Japanese voice: Shinnosuke Tachibana

  • Gomamiso ごまみそ

    Supporting character

A winged cat we encountered in a certain dungeon. Apparently, it’s the offspring of a monster known as a... well, whatever it is. But such details don't matter when faced with that fluffiness! It acts a bit haughty, but it’s actually a total cuddle-bug that loves anyone who dotes on it.

    Japanese voice: Kaede Hondo

  • Toori トーリ

    Supporting character

The Adventurer's Guild Master—a burly, rugged guy who looks the part with his muscular build, eyepatch, and the cross-shaped scar on his face. While his words and actions are as boisterous as his appearance suggests, he also possesses a cool head and a thoughtful nature; he’s exactly the kind of person you’d want as a…

    Japanese voice: Kanehira Yamamoto

  • Sheila シーラ

    Supporting character

She is the female Kobold receptionist at the Adventurers' Guild in the city of Elrage—the home base of the "Gluttony Party." Fluffiness, round two! Yet, despite appearances, she is a seasoned veteran with twenty years of service under her belt; a reliable, attentive, and caring adult woman.

    Japanese voice: Yukari Tamura
